To honor our veterans who have served and those who are now serving our country , we have created The Flags on Main Street Project.
This project is just not about those veterans past and present who have served, this is also for those who have supported them through their time in service. The parents, the siblings, the wives, the girlfriends and the children. Even if you do not know anyone who has served you can sponsor a flag in you or your families name to support this project. There are three ways to show your support for the Flags on Main project.
The first is to honor a veterans by sponsoring a flag in their Honor or Memory.
The second way is to donate by purchasing a set of dog tags one will be for the community flags that fly on memorial day and veterans day. The other tag you will be able to keep for yourself.
The third is to donate by purchasing just a dogtag in the veterans name for a keepsake.
The goal is to line the downtown sidewalks on the Main Street that runs through our village with our Nations Stars and Stripes and the flags of all the services that protect us. Our long range plans will be to create this tribute to extend to the edge of the village going North toward Kenton. Help us create this patriotic scene to make an impact on all those living in and visiting our beautiful piece of America by sponsoring a flag.
